Let go…Let God

Letting God be the foundation of a marriage is something many couples aspire to do in their union, but this was not the case for Elizabeth and Matt. That’s because from the very start – whether dating or married – they have always placed God at the forefront of their relationship.

I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful couple at Starbucks after being referred by my good friend Amy. We talked through all the details of their dream wedding and during the conversation was when I came to know the importance of faith for them, and that they are both teachers.

It was truly an honor to help them fulfill their vision of becoming one for their special day.  With a heaven sent team of my own - to include Tina from NarahChic.Photography for coordinating, catering by Jilberto’s Taco Shop in Escondido, and photography from Calli of Color & Cake Photography, and the elegant Garden of Light staff - the wedding went without a hitch.

And needless to say, we had fun. Elizabeth and Matt’s wedding came complete with my famous Dance-Off, non-stop music, and touching speeches that carried through the course of their reception.

Personally, the teachers in my own life have done so much for me growing up, and I am humbled in knowing how hard they work. Thank you for an amazing experience and for teaching our future generation.
